Famous movie kisses – there are many to choose from and we’ve selected some of our favorites.

How about Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed in “It’s a Wonderful Life,” when he realizes that he wants to be with Mary – even more than traveling and seeing the world?  They’re on the phone together and so close, then they look into each other’s eyes – and wow – there’s a kiss that will get your blood flowing.

What a great first kiss.  Have you had one of those?  If you want to read real life stories of great kisses, get the book “The Truth About How to Kiss Women”  available here on the site.  Some women shared  kissing stories that will curl your toes!

In my opinion, one of the best kissing contemporary actors is Aaron Eckhart – and that’s probably because I’ve seen him doing some serious lip locking in a couple of films – and it always looks great – I don’t think you can learn to act like that – I think he’s a natural.  And would I want a kisser like that?  You bet!

So, check out Aaron Eckhart and Gwyneth Paltrow in “Possession,” a 2002 movie that probably went straight to DVD, but no matter.  This man definitely knows how to kiss a woman.

These are just a few that come to mind – but please let me know what you think are the best movies kisses – ever!

Here are more favorite movie kisses of mine.  Do we ever get tired of seeing people kissing?  Especially if they’re famous or in a movie or TV?  There’s just something that draws us to that act.  Aside from these favorite movie kisses below, we’ll talk more about the universal appeal of kissing – in photos, art and other media – in another post.

So – how about:  Madeleine Stowe and Daniel Day Lewis in “The Last of the Mohicans” where they forget the battles that are going on all around them – they’re in their own private world, and the kissing is steamy to say the least.

This is one of the most sensual make-out scenes in any movie – ever – as far as I’m concerned.

And seriously, Cary Grant kissing anyone!  He has a timelessness about him – his class and elegance stood out no matter what role he played.  And he knew the fundamentals of kissing – at least from what we can see on screen.

Ingrid Bergman kissing anyone: “A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous.”  ~Ingrid Bergman

So who are your favorite people kissing?

Here’s where you get to give your input.  What’s more romantic than a movie kiss?  Well, except for your own up close and personal kiss with your significant other.  But for now, let’s focus on our favorite movie kisses.

We’ve probably all seen a lot of great kisses on screen and some really awful ones.  But we’ll stick with the good stuff for now.  Let me hear back from you – what is your favorite and best movie kiss or kisses ever?

I’ll get the ball rolling by sharing my personal favorites:

Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr - From Here to Eternity

Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr on the    secluded Hawaiian beach in “From Here to Eternity.”  She tells him breathlessly that she’s never been kissed that way before.  Wow.  A guy couldn’t ask for a better response to his kiss.  It’s a classic film – and if you haven’t seen it, rent it and look for the kissing scene – it’s a good one.

Let us know your favorite movie kisses are by posting on our blog.  Thank you!
