The following is from a fan of kissing; something she wrote, quite beautifully, on the kiss. She’s graciously allowed me to share this with my readers.
To write about a kiss
Shouldn’t be called just “a kiss,”
But then “the” kiss doesn’t work either
Until it has happened.
Kiss-there-just Kiss
Deep touching tender
An opening offered to another
to share breath
To touch another’s tongue
with your own
How very intimate
How close
Sensual
Warm
Wet
An offering
Skin to skin
Face to face
Lips to lips
Breath to breath
Heart to heart
Eyelashes so close
Breathing the same breath
Feeling another with your mouth
Filling a desire
Inviting a response
Gentle sweet tender
Movement
Slight – deep
Caresses with your mouth
Mouth to mouth
Trusting
Surrendering
Inviting
Tasting pleasure
Tender ecstasy
Complete surrender.

You will find that kissing is important to women. A bad kiss can nip a potential relationship in the bud. In an ongoing relationship, kissing is often the way to strengthen the bond and maintain intimacy.
